Where there's chocolate, there we are! - Dum Dum Donnuterie

Have you come across the Cronut concept in the UAE? I hadn't until I got to know the launch of Dum Dum Donnutrie all the way from London to Dubai!

It's a fun and small quirky place on the Jumeirah Beach Road - Jumeirah 2, perfectly placed in Blue Reef Building.

It's a casual comfortable seating with pink and white walls giving one the look of some dripping strawberry syrup or that similar to other confectionary stores.

Moving on the main, the D'oh! nuts!! (Saying it the Simpson way ;)). We tried the famous and bestselling cronut - The Zebra which was quite reasonable (AED 22).

The Zebra cronut tasted so good because of its butter cream filling topped with chocolate ganache, and not forgetting its extremely well layered chocolate croissant dough. Unfortunately, I didn't have mine slightly warm. Had I got it warm, you would have noticed the smooth oozing of chocolate butter cream when slicing the cronut through - what a feeling!

Overall, the cronuts are something you must try out here at Dum Dum. If you're one who loves everything light and bright, then this is your place. The interiors in my opinion wasn't unique to be distinguished from the other stores. However, they're definitely distinguished on taste and quality of their doughnuts!

Their cronuts are already selling like hotcakes, the counter had a limited display of doughnuts and cronuts. You'll notice that because they BAKE their doughnuts fresh! :)

A great place if you're looking to try out some crisp and warm cronuts – especially The Zebra layered with chocolate cream, and you can also have the doughnut your way with flavours of your choice!
