Brownie Point has earned brownie points!

This place has never failed to amuse me!

Back in 2013, I was running around like a headless chicken to confectionary stores asking them if they'd be able to make a cake for my dad's 50th birthday within 7 working days! Jumping from store to store, and door to door, I was not very happy with the feedback I received on the design of the cake I wanted for my dad.

My cousin then introduced me to a little confectionary store in Karama, located behind Avenue centre. I went there of course with helplessness and disappointment expecting the same answer. However, upon my arrival at the restaurant, I was seated and offered a pasty (they could have probably noticed I'm in a grumpy mood, and thought chocolate would do the trick! haha). I've never come across such welcoming staff who offered me a slice of cake, and sat me down to wait for the store Manager to talk me through their designs etc.

After a good 15 minutes discussion of how I want my cake to be, the manager says "Sure, we can try to do this". WHAT?? I asked?? You can?? And the manager, Rajbir by name said of course. So, I gave in my order and told him how I'd want the cake to be. Bless the manager, he arranged for the delivery of my cake and it turned out just like the way we wanted it! Dutch truffle cake coated with fondant.

From then on, I've never turned to other confectionary stores for cakes, and I'd highly recommend that if you're looking for good cakes for reasonable prices, Brownie Point is the place to visit. The staff are so welcoming, and so is the Manager.

Their cake left our guests on a sweet note (pun intended) and wanting more! If you're choosing a cake, I'd highly recommend the Kitkat flavor or Dutch Truffle.

Again this year 12th Feb, 2016, my friends knew how much I loved Brownie Point, and how much I love their Kitkat cakes too! And bam! I was surprise with a 1 kg Kitkat cake from Brownie Point :).
